Spanish International Nature Photography Competition
The Spanish International Nature Photo Contest was organized by the Spanish non-profit association MontPhoto in the International Nature and Mountain Photo Contest, which began in 1997.
The mission of the competition is to evaluate and disseminate the art of photography, to establish an international gathering place for photographers and professionals, and to contribute to environmental protection. The game is highly transparent, rewarding innovation and inspiring images, and hopes to interpret and record the diversity, beauty, mystery, and fragility of life, or surprising animal behavior, with a new perspective.
The competition consists of: mountains, mountains and sports, mammals, birds, plant worlds, landscapes and other participating groups.
The Competition Organizing Committee will hold awards and nature photography festivals in Lloret de Mar, Spain, in the middle and late October of each year.
The annual award-winning works will not only be edited into a book, but also related videos will be uploaded to the Vimeo video site to share the natural dreams with more natural photographers around the world.
Chinese photographer Yuan Minghui won the nomination for the Birds Group at the 20th International Nature Photography Competition, the first Chinese to win the international competition.
Spanish International Mountain and Nature Photography Competition
The Spanish International Mountain and Nature Photo Contest was held to commemorate Maria Luisa Alvarez.
The theme of the competition is mountain and nature, with: mountain landscape, mountain climbing, adventure and extreme sports, people and nature, animal world and many other groups.
After paying the entry fee online, each group is allowed to submit 5 works. The competition is open to everyone. During the 27 years of the competition, photographers from 83 countries participated in the competition. Many of the world’s top natural photographers were proud to be selected for the event.
Spanish “International Sports” and “Free Time” magazine will publish MML award-winning works and related news.
Every year in mid-May, the contest is held in Asturias, Spain, and then roving exhibitions will be held in some cities and universities in Spain. The competition was supported by the Spanish Association of Nature Photographers.
Each year, the winning entries are edited into a book and the relevant videos are uploaded to the Vimeo video site. Chinese photographer Yuan Minghui won two honorary awards for the plant fungus group and the macro group in the 25th MML competition, which was the first Chinese to win the competition.
Italian International Nature Photography Competition
The Italian International Nature Photography Competition was co-sponsored by the Italian photography magazine Oasis and the AITN Group, referred to as the Oasis International Photography Award. The winning entries will be published in the Oasis magazine and the yearbook. The event is dedicated to nature and wildlife photography and is designed to reflect different photography techniques. There are 10 groups: mammals, birds and bats, plants, underwater, and other animals.
The competition is for amateur and professional photographers from all over the world. The entry fee is 25 Euros, and each group can submit up to 3 works. The story class requires at least 6 works. In 2015, the OASIS Competition received approximately 25,000 works from 62 countries. In 2016, the OASIS competition added two categories, “Open Natural” and “Open Animals”. These two groups do not require original documents, making it easy for people using Compact cameras, smartphones and tablets to compete.
From the 13th session, the competition will set up the award-winning Photographer Hall of Fame, which will be judged by the international jury. Chinese photographer Yuan Minghui won the other animal group honorary awards in the 11th and 13th competitions and was one of the earliest Chinese winners of the Oasis International Photography Awards.
